Cenadou — Restaurant Review
Having earlier in 2023 declared Piaule to have the finest food I’ve eaten in the Hudson Valley, Cenadou made me think again. Let’s call it a tie. But Cenadou certainly has the edge when it comes to value-for-money. For the quality of its food, the expense is a relative steal.
“Cenadou’s vegetarian mushroom risotto — the absence of chicken stock is miraculous — is packed with explosive flavor. And yet somehow the dish remains light, its nubs of rice suspended in airy sauce.
